Chaaste Family Market: Reviews & Ratings
Okay its been awhile since Ive shared a Review as I only truly do it IF and only if Im absolutely IMPRESSED or if Im offended yikes haha but this one leans more on me being razzled and dazzled by one of the three brothers. Who am I speaking of? You wonder. Well the Winner is, drumroll pls.... the one and only GABRIEL lol and lemme tell you that name suits him just foine as he is nothing short of Angelic. Cause for the most part as a Kapampangan I can pretty much cook my own food. But every now and then Id like to get a "turo turo" hodge podge buffet of a couple of ulams all at once for "culture". And of course to SUPPORT our local Filipino stores. And I dont know if its his great customer service or of its (in my wishful thinking) perhaps we just had great CHEMISTRY hihi but I really like this guy's positive, bright eyed energy and vibes. And thats the thing with people: When you feel welcomed and comfortable and HAPPY in a restaurant, you tend to WANT to get more, and more and more items. And of course all the brothers that work there at Chaste Market are simply wonderful. But for me, in my opinion Gabriel takes the cake. Dont ask me why, but there is something about him, something CHARMING and shall I say even "CARIÑOSO". I mean he is afterall the "bunso". All together, making him the ideal Filipino Gentleman if there ever was. Nacksss! Lmao. Oh and the food is GOOD too! Buwahaha. Food Deets lol: Deep Fried Tilapia, Pancit, and Chicken Curry
Picked up a two item, the Lechon Kawali was FIRE, crispy skin and tender meat. Some spots would deep fry to oblivion, this Lechon was perfect. and Pork Adobo had that garlic kick, totally would visit again. Also happy to support the family own business!
HIDDEN GEM. It's a cute snack shop on one side with a huge variety of imported snack and drinks. On the other, the best take away Filipino food you can get on this side of town. Everything was fresh and extremely well portioned. The lumpia was very tasty and please do yourself a favor and try the turon! Delicious!!!
Very good Filipino Home Cooking. Came here for the first time and got a lunch box with the typical comfort food, pancit (vegetable noodles), BBQ chicken, lumpia (mini pork egg rolls). I also got some extra sides, longanisa (sausages), lentil stew, and turon (bananas egg roll). Everything was delicious. Service was great, it was like walking in your family's kitchen to pick up food.
I have found a authentic Filipino food. I just loved it reminds me of Philippines. I have tried a lot of Filipino here different places but nothing like this. It’s a family own business and they do care for their customers the guy who was helping us. He is really nice and friendly. We found this place on the way and it’s a hour away but it’s worth driving he also gave us a turon to try. One bite i just loved it. I have to go back for turon!!!!!!!
Amazing diamond of a place! Family owned and oozing in genuine happiness and good vibes. Cafeteria style layout honest and delicious with a menu that should hit any type of craving. Plus the merch is nicee
I've been coming here for 3 years now. This place is my go-to when I don't have time to cook but I don't want fast food. I love the authentic Filipino food and desserts. The meals are delicious and you can tell they're made with love and care.
It was our first time to try here and we went for the best sellers. All taste very good. Perfect sweet and sour Calamansi Slush, crispy crunchy Turon and massive serving of Halo Halo. It was just messy to eat it in that container spilling everwhere good thing they have that spillproof box lol Workers here btw are very friendly, great vibe. Classic filipino hospitality. Keep it up!
